The Celebrate Committee aims to provide students with events that are geared towards celebrating CU. We want students to enjoy their time at CU through events that take pride in being a Buff, while also giving back to the Buff community. Some of The Herd’s most famous events that celebrate being a Buff include CU Idol and fall football pre-games.

Do you think you have an amazing voice? Is singing in the shower just not cutting it? Well, CU Idol Auditions are HERE! Warm up your vocal chords and practice your dance routine because its high time you auditioned for the BEST event of the semester!
Auditions for CU Idol are on February 16th and February 17th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop by Club 156 in the UMC at any time on either of those days for a short audition and receive a free CU Idol t-shirt for auditioning!
You could be the next CU Idol and winner of $1000!
A lot of students auditioned, and ten made it to the final show. Only one will win the $1000 prize. Join The Herd in the Glenn Miller Ballroom on Friday, March 9th at 7 p.m. for CU Idol! Bring your friends and your iclickers for a night of nail biting competition, show stopping performances and entertaining acts. The Herd is making CU Idol BIGGER and BETTER this year! Stay tuned for updates on who will be hosting CU Idol and who our big name judges will be.
Join The Herd at the Koenig Alumni Association for a free lunch for our Herd membersbetween 12 – 2 p.m. The first Wednesday of every month, starting in February. Check out the events page for more details!
